Our signature fabric is made only of extra long staple pima cotton, prized for its softness, durability, resistance to pilling and natural luster. It is also exceptionally comfortable and breathable.

The fabric is produced and dyed in Switzerland in a precise manner that preserves the integrity of the delicate fibers. The fibers are mercerized or causticized which results in a silky luster and increased color brilliance and longevity. This finishing is a costly process and so is only applied to high quality garments. Our trusted factory has been run by the same family for three generations, and produces what we consider to be the finest cotton knit in the world.

Something that sets apart our shirts is the weight of our fabric. Over time, knit fabrics have gotten thinner and thinner in efforts to reduce cost. We believe fabric should be substantial enough to flatter the body, not revealing every dimple or bump underneath. We work closely with our factory to produce the weight of our fabric and the compactness of the knit.

We also use an incredibly silky soft mercerized (causticized) cotton finished and dyed in an incredible mill in Austria known for production of renowned luxury sleepwear and intimates. This factory has perfected innovative and meticulous technologies of natural fibres to control each step of the process, from fiber to finished knit using the finest raw materials.
